SUMMARY:Holiday Headstart Workshop - Ring Sarasota
DESCRIPTION:Ring Sarasota is excited to announce the return of its popular “Holiday Headstart” workshop\, offering an opportunity for handbell choirs to get a jumpstart on their Christmas programs! \nThis one-day workshop is for handbell choirs to work on music for December. All selections will be easily accessible for any choir\, no matter the size or experience. After working through the pieces\, the ringers will participate in a public performance of the music\, to boost their confidence and get audience members in the Christmas spirit. Any ringer is welcome and encouraged to participate. Individuals and groups are welcome to sign-up! Lunch will be provided and the public performance will be held at 3 pm. \nAll music\, selected in advance\, will be appropriate for any time during the advent season or on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Attendees will need to purchase music ahead of time. Participating ringers & choirs may wish to read through the material in advance to better prepare for the workshop. \nThe cost to participate is $15 per person\, with a maximum of $120 for groups of eight or more.
